"The Door" tells the story of Daniel Stratton, an everyday person who has a wonderful best friend, but has a father who despises him.    He walks through a mysterious door, and everything changes. He finds himself in another world, different from what he knows...

"The Door" is a student film that was produced for the East Tennessee State University division of Broadcasting in Spring 2008.  The movie was shot in 1080p high definition on Canon equipment.  It is the second film in the department's history to be produced in HD.  The movie met with high praise when it was unveiled in April 2008.

"The Door" was written and directed by Nicholas Mooneyhan, who has a vast background in thrillers and science fiction stories.  It is his first film project.
